Savage's hand came out of the compartment gripping the stock of a long heavy-barreled revolver. The high-polish blue shone with an inky blackness in the dark of the automobile interior. The gun was a Colt Python, Gould registered automatically; .357 Magnum, six inch barrel. It took a 158-grain bullet with a load that could stop an express train.
