He reached for the blade, and she swung viciously at him. He dodged, came in close, grabbed at her arm, and she ducked under his grip. Her breathing was a raw gasping sound in the dark kitchen. He hear her footsteps, as light as a whisper, with the grace of a dancer, with the agility of a dangerous cat."
