twice upon a time, charles l. fontenay

He took in Marl with a quick, photographic glance. So this was the Volksweld leader! He wasn't impressive at all, as Chaan had expected. He was a slight man, with a squarish face and a wide, firm mouth. His keen black eyes seemed to glitter behind the heavy-rimmed spectacles, and his black hair was neatly combed. He was swartheir than most of the Volksweldvolken, and his black garb, cut along the lines of the Volksweld uniform but unrelieved by any color, seemd to make him a part of the shadows of the dim room

1958.
