We just had our 35th Sigma Nu Zeta Rho Chapter Reunion in August, 2005, at the old Iggy's.

These are my best buddies from college. Russ Rezendes and Steve 'Cuz' Messineo. We had alot of good times in Sigma Nu Fraternity at URI and 'down the line' in our beach house in Narragansett, Rhode Island.
Zeta Rho Chapter, Sigma Nu Fraternity Insignia Our Sigma Nu Insignia - the White Rose - that I and Murray Petrakis painted on a basement wall in the Zeta Rho Fraternity House. Scene of many great mattress parties, Motown sounds, and wierd juice concoctions by Lenny Riordan. I learned alot about living with people. And many life lessons. I sure miss it.... Claire DeLuca, my Italian 'Chooch' at URI. What a babe!

 My first car - 1965 TR4

My first car! A 1965 Triumph TR4. I kept it only 6 months. Leaky pistons.

Bought a new 1970 Firebird which I still drive every day in California.

We spent our summers at Lake Teedyuskung in Pennslyvania. Here are some photos of Dad and the family enjoying the boating.

Breakfast. 290 Concord Drive. 1975

Ted and I use to return to the old 'homestead' every Christmas orThanksgiving. Mom would take a pic of us sitting at the kitchen table while we waited for breakfast. The things you take for granted....

Here are some more kitchen photos.

I enjoyed Rhode Island. I made a lot of friends through the fraternities and sororities. Lots of parties 'down the line' in Narragansett and at Billy Dolan's house in Matunick. Driving in Lenny Riordan's VW or George Brown's 1967 Firebird. Walking down a country road with Donna Smith (Donna Comolli) to our favorite private spot near the lake.

This is Crazy Bert and Dad!

Leaving home for the last time and going off to graduate school at New Mexico State University, 1971. That's Bert Brondi, River Dell HS senior class President, and Dad. Never saw Dad again. He passed on October 6, 1971 when I was 2,000 miles away at NMSU.

I continued my education at New Mexico State University and received my Master of Arts degree in 1974. Majored in Engineering Psychology (Human Factors) and Statistics with minors Speech and Hearing Sciences. Engineering Psychology at NMSU was taught by the first generation of aviation psychologists out of Ohio State and Wright Patterson AFB! That's where I met Holly Hosford Dunn, who diagnosed me with a bimodal, binoral hearing loss. These were the original control/display guys! Dar Hunt, James Bradley, and George Briggs. It was a really great time to be at NMSU and involved in Human Factors. Greg Smith, Gary Conover, and I use to hike up into the Organ Mountains on the weekends. My dogger, Gandalf, would hike there every weekend.
