ELSA (Electroluminescent Safety Apparatus)
2023 |
The objective of ELSA is to create an electroluminescent road sign that is triggered by an oncoming vehicle to alert them of a hazardous road condition like 'ICE' with a message like 'Slow Down'. The sound of an approaching vehicle turns ELSA on and depending upon temperature and humidity displays the alert and caution. |
